Giulia Parola

Giulia Parola: Research Fellow, Università degli Studi di Torino, Italy, with the project “Modeling Water Governance and Rights with Empathy, Compassion, and Care, from the Perspective of Integral Ecology”; Visiting Professor (2020-2022) at the Graduate Program in Law at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO), Post-Doctorate in Environmental Law at the Fluminense Federal University, Rio de Janeiro (UFF-PPGDC). Doctor in Environmental Law from Université Paris V René Descartes, France. Master in International Environmental Law from the University of Iceland, and graduated in Law from the Università degli Studi di Torino, in Italy. Her research is related to the themes of environmental democracy and the rights of indigenous peoples, water governance, indigenous law, legal anthropology, legal design, and visual law.

Cristian Delpiano Lira

Profesor-Investigador de tiempo completo del Instituto de Investigaciones Dr. José María Luis Mora (CONACYT) en la Ciudad de México. Es egresado de la London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) de Inglaterra en Relaciones Internacionales (MSc) y doctor en Análisis y Gobernanza del Desarrollo Sustentable por la Universidad Internacional de Venecia, Italia (PhD). Sus intereses de investigación abarcan temas de cambio climático, gestión de riesgo de desastres, seguridad ambiental y ayuda humanitaria. Colabora con la Iniciativa California Global Energy, Water & Infrastructure Innovation Initiative de la universidad de Stanford, California. Miembro del SNI de México, nivel II. Es actualmente uno de los científicos del Panel Intergubernamental de Cambio Climático de la ONU (IPCC), y encargado de la redacción del próximo informe AR6 (Assessmente Report 6) para 2021.
